The painting "Milan Cathedral" was made with mixed technique. In the background you can see the Cathedral of Milan in all its grandeur. Moving figures are shown in the square. The part in the foreground is characterized by dark colours and to the right you can clearly see a black lamppost. The rest, however, is outlined in soft colours such as grey, light green and pale blue light. A red billboard stands outside the entrance of the Cathedral. Alfredo Zecca was born in La Spezia, Italy in 1917. He lived and worked in Milan. He received his artistic maturity at the Art School of Brera and had the chair teaching of watercolour painting. Dimensions relate to the painting without a frame.
