Cabinet with limelight painting

Piece on four "roe deer" legs which has a hinged door to form a writing top, in which there are five compartments and two drawers. To achieve the painting, the piece underwent great preparation to form the base: the first operation was to cast the parts to be painted; once dried was sanded they were ready to be painted. It was then was given a lacquer of a deep green and was painted with various ornaments and bouquets of flowers. The outside of the limelight in turn is painted with a scene of characters dressed in period clothing. It is in good condition.
